The Central Pennsylvania Autism Foundation provides resources and support to caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder through financial scholarships, community support groups, and educational workshops that empower families to advocate for meaningful lifelong choices.

Dr. Dana Garner, BCBA-D, LBS, Autism Specialist, President and Assistant Treasurer

Dr. Garner has been working with children with autism and their families for over 30 years. Starting CPaAF was a dream of hers, as she saw the financial needs first hand with the families receiving ABA therapy services in PA. In addition to being on the board of CPaAF, she is also the owner/clinical director of Garner Behavior Services, LLC located in Lycoming, Clinton and Union Counties. (www.gbsautism.com). Dana was also a professor for PSU for 10 years in their ABA program instructing and creating courses such as Ethics for Behavior Analysts and Practicum for Behavior Analysts, and has provided supervision, workshops, and created clinics internationally.

Dana Siegal, Secretary

Dana Siegel is the Clinical & Administrative Director of DCS Applied Behavior Analysis, LLC.  She has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis formally since obtaining her BCBA credential in 2011, and worked with children who have autism since 1998.  In addition to her training in Applied Behavior Analysis, Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in special education, PA teaching certificates in Special Education and Elementary Education, and a PA Behavior Specialist License.  During graduate school at Penn State, Dana specialized in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).  Dana has been passionate about supporting children with autism to achieve positive outcomes since she first worked with a young child who had autism while she was a day camp counselor at Germantown Academy Day Camp, in Fort Washington, PA.  Dana is deeply committed to assisting children with autism and their families to obtain the treatment services they need in order to live safe and productive lives.  She joined the CPaAF Board of Directors in the fall of 2020.  

Amanda Boyer, Assistant Secretary

Amanda Boyer is a grant specialist for a Pennsylvania based non profit.  She has extensive local, state, federal grant and operations government background.  She is a parent of an adult child that has Aspergers and resides in Central Pennsylvania.
